EXPLORING STAKEHOLDERS EXPERIENCES AND CHALLENGES ON THE PRINTED MODULAR DISTANCE LEARNING MODALITY AMIDST COVID19 PANDEMIC

The unprecedented outbreak of novel coronavirus brought disruptions to people's lives. Schools were closed due the imposed different community quarantine. Department Education collaborates with stakeholders develop a Basic Learning Continuity Plan. used learning modalities based on parent's and students' capacity. study wants find out experiences, challenges or difficulties, suggestions five school in province Quezon. This qualitative method through semi-structured interviews. researcher found that training seminars provided by department education all teachers made them confident implementing printed modular distance modality. Monitoring evaluating learners' progress are some most challenging parts as claimed teacher-respondents. Communicating students parents is one faced limited internet signals area. majority learners do not have gadgets like smartphones laptops. Collaborations strong partnerships colleagues helped cope mentioned challenges. For parents, part was establishing routine among their children studying. Assistance from relatives, searching using other resources books asking for assistance help face they encountered. student's it hard alone module. Some lesson needs be explained understand well. Performance tasks preferences learning. Parents' relatives' helps learner doing activities. Using supplementary materials also activities stated modules.
